The curriculum of the Department of Physical Education provides a good balance of courses to train competent physical education teachers and courses to train exercise science specialists. In addition, the department emphasizes field-based education by organizing practical courses to train athletic trainers (AT) and exercise prescription specialists. In addition to basic sports such as athletics, gymnastics, and swimming, the department also organizes various ball sports such as golf, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and tennis, and leisure sports such as skiing, yachting, windsurfing, and skinscuba to ensure that specialized and specialized physical education instructors are trained.
In order to make the department shine more brightly after graduation, the Department of Physical Education operates job hunting programs such as the Leopard Club, an employment guidance class, a physical education teacher appointment examination class, a police officer preparation class, and free TOEIC lectures, and has been selected as a departmental specialization project in recognition of its excellence. The school provides space for more than 10 physical education clubs and helps students develop their certifications as physical education instructors through financial sponsorship.
Since 2009, we have been offering a number of English courses in our majors, and we have established a sister university relationship with a prestigious university abroad to conduct a study abroad program where students and professors exchange with each other, making us a truly global department. In spring, the garden in front of our department is covered with cherry blossoms, and in autumn, the leaves change colors. Behind the school, Seunghak Mountain is lush with mallow, and the sun sets in the evening, making it one of the Eight Views of the East. I look forward to meeting you in the natural environment where mountains, rivers, and the sea meet.
Thank you.
